The Practice
Headlands Ops builds the operational architecture founder-led companies need to scale.
Headlands Ops is an operational advisory practice for founder-led businesses navigating the climb from hustle to real scale. The work has always been the same at its core: take what lives in the founder's head and the team's habits, and turn it into systems the company actually runs on — vision, leadership rhythm, departmental infrastructure.
Ridgeline AIOS is the newest and most advanced of that work: the AI operating system. When the question became \u201chow does a founder-led company actually install AI across the organization?\u201d — Headlands built the answer, deployed it, and made it repeatable.
How We Work
We install capability. Then we step back.
Our model is done-with-you, by conviction. Done-for-you builds dependency — when the engagement ends, the capability leaves. We build the system alongside your team so it becomes genuinely yours: understood, owned, and able to evolve long after we're gone. That principle runs through everything Headlands builds, and it's the spine of how Ridgeline is delivered.
The Founder
The operator behind the practice.
Headlands Ops was founded by Andrew Erickson, who has spent eighteen years co-founding and operating founder-led companies — Alaniz Marketing, Alaniz Health, and the practice itself. He's lived every operational challenge a founder-led company faces, including the one Ridgeline solves: knowing AI matters, and having no clear way to install it across an organization.
He built the system inside his own companies, with real stakes, before offering it to anyone else.
Not a vendor reselling someone else's tools — an operator who built the thing, then made it repeatable.
Where This Comes From
Proven before it was offered.
The Ridgeline system was architected and proven inside Headlands Ops and its companies before it became a program.
Deploying with founder-led companies — building the documented track record that pre-proof claims can't.
The system runs on the platform built for organizational deployment, by deliberate architectural choice.
Let's talk about your company.
Every engagement starts with an application and a diagnostic conversation — not a pitch.
